Most of us will never experience the kind of prosperity that Jim Bakker experienced in his hey day, nor will most of us ever suffer the horror of prison. But don’t miss the point. It is one thing to talk about the joys of following Christ when life is relatively easy and good. But how firm is your faith when life comes crumbling down around you?
