The Necessary Ingredient

The writer of Hebrews was writing to Christians who were on the verge of abandoning their faith in Christ because of unrelenting problems and persecution. These Christians were asking the same questions some of you may be asking today. If God is there, why doesn’t he answer my prayer, why doesn’t he provide relief from the difficulties I’m facing? In Chapter 11 he is saying, “Hold on to your faith – for there is a reward coming when Christ returns.”
